Graphic Design

All estimates are valid for 30 days

Payment
Payment of a 25% deposit is due to begin any new project. If I do my best to provide you with the design as outlined including any alternatives outlined in your estimate, and you don't like any of your choices at all, the deposit is Non Refundable and also non negotiable. If you decide to change anything major ie your company name, this will incur an additional charge. Lovat Designs is a very adaptable business and customer satisfaction is very much my aim. If I do not hold up my end of the agreement and do not provide you with the designs outlined in the estimate then you are entitled to a refund.

Payment of Fees
A 25% deposit is due to begin any new project, and 75% upon completion. Full payment is required before final artwork is supplied.

Lead Time
After a deposit has been received and all content of the design has been received from you or sourced by myself as agreed as part of the new project an estimated completion date can be given, (this can only be a rough time as I cannot guarantee a completion date accurately as it is will depend on how quickly you the Client get back to me with alterations and any changes to layout). Without content the design job cannot be fully planned out. Rush jobs can be taken on but are dependent on my schedule and what is entailed within the job. An additional charge will be payable.

Approval of Final Artwork
The Client shall proof read and approve all final type for spelling mistakes and style. Email approval accepted from Client or a Representative acting on behalf of the Client will be taken as final acceptance of artwork.

Refunds
Once a project has been designed in full according to the agreed project, no refunds are given after design has been approved. Proofs are not always colour accurate and for guidance only, no responsibility will be taken for final printed colours not appearing as expected. Pantone swatch books are available if you the Client are looking for a specific colour on different coatings of paper, sometimes printed colours may vary.

Rights
Lovat Designs reserves the right to use any design in any printed and/or online portfolio.

Photo Restoration

Orders for digital photo restoration services can be taken in person, e-mail, or post by sending your original photograph, with your contact details (name, address, telephone number and email address) and a crossed cheque made payable to Lovat Designs for 3.95 to cover the cost of returning your photograph should you not wish to proceed. Once received I can assess the photo and give you a quote for the work involved.

Turnaround times may vary depending on the level of work involved, but I aim to complete each order within seven to ten working days of receipt.

Copyrighted Photographs
When sending any images to Lovat Designs the sender must own the copyright to that image, in the case of professional photographs please ensure that you have written permission from the copyright owner prior to sending. The sender of the image will be held liable for any costs associated with court action resulting from violation of copyright.

Post and Packaging
Please ensure that when posting delicate old photos that they are very carefully packaged in cardboard to keep them safe during transit. Please do not send any framed photographs. Lovat Designs can not be held responsible for original photographs being lost or damaged by the postal service.

Valuable Photographs
Lovat Designs can not be held responsible or accept any liability for any damage to your photographs whilst in my care. While every possible care is taken with your originals, photographs are sent at the customer's own risk and if you believe your photograph(s) have a value exceeding the cost of reprinting the
photograph(s) please ensure you arrange appropriate insurance cover and advise me before sending.

Payment
Full payment is due on completion, in the case of postal orders a watermarked .jpg will be emailed to you. Once you are happy with your restoration please post a crossed cheque made payable to Lovat Designs for the amount quoted. Postal customers please add 3.95 for postage and packaging. All postal orders will be returned via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

Additional Prints

Additional prints can be ordered in addition to the one supplied with your restoration.
